The vertical blinds/ curtains are pulled together to a block.

Over this block between curtain and rail is pushed the shower head connected to one end of the hose.

Then the curtains and hose including the shower head are wrapped by a water-proof plastic foil. After this everything is put into the container of the machine and the other end of the hose is connected to the pump.

The detergent is pumped up to the shower head which evenly distribute it through the curtains. While the detergent runs down the curtains, it dissolves the dirt and transports it away.

The real washing process takes, depending on the type of draperies as well as the pollution level, 15 to 20 minutes. The subsequent rinsing process takes about 3 to 5 minutes. The curtains of a single window can be cleaned in less than half an hour thoroughly, construction and dismantling of the system included. It is possible to clean four curtains per hour and machine pair averaged. The drying of the purified draperies happens directly at the rail as well. At the beginning of the "natural" drying process pans are put underneath the cleaned curtains that catch dripping off rest water.
